We had great meals!

I was really craving some birria tacos, and found Carmelo’s Tacos so decided to give it a try near me! The stand is a walk up window location with no places to sit, and a small (I think paid?) parking lot right next to it. I went around 1:30 PM on a Saturday. There were 3 people waiting outside the stand and a few people seemingly waiting in cars, but no one ordering so I was able to walk directly up to the stand and order on the tablet outside, which was very convenient.

It did take a while for my food to be ready, over 10 min, so in the future I’d definitely order ahead. But once I got my food, I took it to a nearby park to eat. Everything was very well packaged and nothing spilt. And the food itself was incredible. Meat was very well cooked and so juicy, and the accompanying consomé was very flavorful. I will definitely be back!

In my opinion, out of all the popular taco spots within inner Seattle, Carmelo’s Tacos is currently my favourite one. No offense to the other great taco competitor nearby but when I think about Carmelo’s Tacos, my mouth starts to water. Their service is quick so that they can get your food to you as soon as possible.

I’ve tried a few of the meats so far, and just about all of them have the right juicy and tender taste that a taco should have. They also put some great tasting sauces on top of their tacos that add that extra flavour. The tacos also come with sides of onions and carrots as well which I personally like.

Their tacos are pretty great, but to be honest if you’re looking for the “best” tacos, you’ll have to drive down south to places like Burien and White Center. But for Seattle standards, Carmelo’s Tacos are worth it!

From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but the food here is delicious and a great price! We ordered 2 burritos and 1 horchata, came out to about $23 after tax! The burritos are huge, so definitely worth it! A must visit if you like tacos/burritos, are in Cap Hill, and looking for something quick.

I always get the asada burrito and it is so good, especially with the spicy sauce that comes with it. It is quick service, being a little window in the market that you walk up to and order then wait for your food. They are always friendly at the window and fast with the food.
